Great location to the beaches + cafes - yet really quiet. Our girls have been regular visitors to the park over the road and we have sampled great meals down Darby St + in The Junction. Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed. We appreciated the kid friendly aspect as well. We really enjoyed and relaxed at your amazing cottage. Family weddings can be really stressful but having the cottage to get away from family/obligation to recoup and recover was perfect. So child friendly too. Our family that lives locally was very impressed we'll be recommending Cooks Hill Cottage to all. We enjoyed a great time in this lovely cottage. The neighbouring Darby Street and The Junction cafés and shops are a lifestyle experience. Not missing to mention the fabulous ocean baths and of course the Jacuzzi on the deck, simply fine. We enjoyed each of our 13 days and might come back. We've had an absolutely lovely stay. Your house is so easy to relax in and extremely well appointed. There was nothing more we could have wished for except a few extra days. We shall certainly come again. This cottage is beautiful and we appreciated all the little touches We spent our last hours of singledom here and our first day of marriage. We feel grateful that this beautiful place will forever be etched in our fond memories. We have had a wonderful stay in Newcastle for the week. Such gorgeous beaches + plenty of great shops + restaurants nearby also. The house is so well set up and tastefully decorated. It has been nice to pretend your gorgeous furniture, lighting + kitchen is ours for the week. Once again a perfect and relaxing stay. We'll be back again. We had such an amazing holiday - truly a miracle - Tilly Rogers welcomed while we were here. We love the cottage so homely and fabulous. The cottage became home for a week - office, dining, rest - it was all great. Congratulations on an unusually good accommodation spot Such a beautiful home! If only we could stay for longer. Friends and family alike could not believe we found such a little gem. We'll definitely return. This truly is Newcastle's best kept secret! Absolutely lovely home away from home. Thank you for the local info and recommendations. Swell cafe was fantastic! The Barbie DVDS's were also a hit with our 2 year old. Your cottage has made us feel that Newcastle is a place worthy of visiting again. To arrive and find the place better than the advertising was a real bonus. To have our own oasis in such an interesting part of town has been such a treat. What a lovely cottage in a perfect location! Pity about the weather, we will have to return to enjoy some of the beach walks. Thank you for your personalised restaurant guide - it's a great help when you're not a local. We have really enjoyed our stay in your gorgeous cottage - love the Scandinavian feel & the spa was very welcome after walking the Bathers Way both ways! Food recommendations were excellent also. A fabulous cottage, the bed sadly wouldn't it in the back of the car, a shame, because it was like sleeping on a cloud! Absolutely loved the décor & the overall feel of the place. Thanks for the wonderful time we have had getting ready for my best friends wedding. It was wonderful to rest up and finish preparing for her special day & getting ready here on her wedding morning. See you soon. Cooks Hill Cottage was the perfect place for us to bring in the New Year! As frequent visitors to Newcastle, we can easily see this becoming our favourite home away from home.
